SRI LANKA’S 1st EVER INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION ON POWER & ENERGY
–
2nd Power Sri Lanka 2010 – the first ever International Exhibition of Sri
Lanka on Power Generation & Transmission, PV Power, Energy &
Renewable Energy held from June 3 ~ 5, 2010 in Colombo – Sri Lanka

`POWER series of Exhibitions’ in Sri Lanka
- `2nd Power Sri Lanka 2010 International
Expo’ – focusing and devoted to the
development of Power Generation & Transmission, Alternative Power, PV Power, Energy and
Renewable Energy sectors of Sri Lanka, at `Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre’
[SLECC] - Colombo, from June 3 ~ 5, 2010.
On the same dates, Concurrent Exhibitions were held, namely, (a) Renewable Energy Sri
Lanka 2010 International Expo, and (b) E-Power Sri Lanka 2010 Int’l Expo, focusing
on Electric Power Equipment and Technology.
With the above 3 exhibitions in one go, the complete comprehensive exhibition focused not
only to the entire Power & Energy sector of Sri Lanka but also catered to the needs of Power
& Energy for the entire Industry sector of the Country.
`2nd Power Sri Lanka 2010 International Expo’ was endorsed by the `Ministry of Power &
Energy – Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka’ and supported by
`Sri Lanka Convention Bureau’ [ SLCB ].
Co-Partners of the event were Cummins – Trade Promoters Ltd., United Tractor &
Equipment Ltd [Caterpillar – USA] and Suzlon Energy Limited (India).
Present at the Opening Ceremony held on 3rd June 2010 at Sri Lanka Exhibition &

new technology with emphasis on tapping the alternative energy sources for Power
Generation like coal-fired power plants or any other source, which would take a big load off
