Newly developed 50 mm F2.5 fixed-focal-length GR Lens
• A macro lens with high image quality made possiblethrough the
collective expertise of Ricoh optical technology.
• High resolution and high contrast to periphery.
• Rigorous elimination of image color fringing by reducing
magnification color aberration and frame-aberration color
differences.
• Successful distortion correction to a level where it is not necessary
to depend on electronic correction.
• With the aperture wide open, there is little vignetting and radiant
bokeh is achieved that maintains circle diameter to the edge
of the image.
APS-C size 12.3 million pixel CMOS sensor
• Perfect for portraits and macro photography. The best match for the
50 mm fixed-focal-length lens; offers excellent bokeh characteristics.
3rd-generation imaging engine GR ENGINE III
• Installing an image processing engine inherited from the GR line,
we achieved higher speed by combining the engine with a
CMOS sensor.
What is a GR Lens?
To be a GR LENS, a lens must perform at or
above a level in its overall lens characteristics,
particularly with respect to MTF values,
distortion, and color aberration.
