Landis Recession Interment ~ East Harrisburg Cemetery “Free at Last, Free at Last, Jesus is my Savior and he can be yours, too.” Jesse was born January 23, 1946 in the Bronx, New York to the late, Amelia and Placido Morales. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Victor, Placido, Jr., and David. He had a successful 29 year career with Pinnacle Health System as a Security Agent. He was an active member of Word of Grace Ministries, where he served as a Deacon. Jesse had a passion for life and motorcycles. He was the founder of Local Chapter 439 Tribe of David of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He volunteered at the Salt Cellar Coffeehouse and Knight Hoops, where he ministered to teen and young adult men. He was a shining example of how God intended to treat each other. He touched the hearts of everyone he met. We will love and miss you always. Jesse was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 29 years, Leida Lopez Morales and is also survived by four sons, Anthony, Jesus, Jr., Jose Morales, Harrisburg and Jason Morales, Los Angeles, CA; one beloved grandson, Jaydin Morales; three brothers, Johnnie, Puerto Rico, George and Danny Morales, Harrisburg; and a host of family and friends. He also leaves behind, his beloved dog “Chopper”, who was his best friend and companion. There will be a celebration of Jesse’s life on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in his church, 3814 North Progress Ave., Harrisburg, with the Rev. Dr. David R. Landis, Pastor, Officiating. Burial in East Harrisburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the church.
