The Lady Jags Softball Team will be having a 2 location carwash @ Autozone (Northport) and
Northridge High School. 9:00 – 1:30. Pre-sale tickets are $10.00. See Coach Hodge, Jenkins,
Mayfield, or your fav softball player if interested. Thanks. Go Jags.
Junior girls interested in applying to be an Alabama A&M Alumni Debutante during their senior
year 2017 – 2018 should see Mr. Kenneth Smothers, school sponsor in the counselors’ suite for
an application. The deadline to return applications is April 21, 2017.
If you haven’t purchased your yearbook yet, make sure to do so ASAP. The price of the book will
be increasing to $180 after April 21st. Order forms are available in Ms. Humber’s room (Rm.
165). Get it now before we finalize our order #!

There will be a Key Club meeting this afternoon in Mr. Johnson’s room (Rm. 152).
Students, if you have made a 30 or above on the ACT and have not been inducted into the All
Academic Team, you need to bring your ACT score report to the guidance office. If you bring
your score by Tuesday, April 25, you will be included in the April 27th All Academic Team
Induction.
Coaching assistants needed! It’s not about washing uniforms. If you have ever been curious
about coaching basketball, this is an opportunity to work side by side with the Girls basketball
coaching staff. Learn to scout and breakdown film, travel with the team during tournament
season, and coach drills and fundamentals during the season. If any male students are
interested, please see Coach Bothwell or Coach Jenkins as soon as possible.
JV & Varsity Girls Basketball Tryouts April 18th – 19th. The last day to pick up athletic packets will
be April 13th. Please see Coach Bothwell or Coach Jenkins for more information.
