NATIONAL TEXTBOOK LOAN SCHEME 2016-2017
TENDER INVITATION
The Government of Jamaica, through the Ministry of Education invites
companies registered with the National Contracts Commission in the category
of “Stationery Supplies and Books” to pre-qualify for the procurement and
distribution of textbooks to All-Age, Primary and Junior High and Secondary
schools islandwide, under the National Textbook Loan Scheme 2016-2017,
with particular emphasis on materials locally prepared and produced.
In order to pre-qualify, companies will be assessed on the experience of
assigned staff, value of contracts handled, timely management of jobs
completed, financial capabilities of the firm, availability of warehouse space
and vehicles, years of experience in executing similar work in Jamaica.
Companies must also be in possession of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate
(T.C.C.) in order to pre-qualify.

January 11, 2016 at a non-refundable cost of $4,000.00 which is to be paid at
