OSAKA, Japan - Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd., the show organiser, has announced that
Manufacturing World Osaka 2014 held from September 24 (Wed) - 26 (Fri), 2014 at INTEX
Osaka, - Western Japan’s largest trade show for the manufacturing industry, ended with the
greatest success with 932 exhibitors and 35,991* visitors from around the world.
*The total number of visitors represents the sum of those visited Manufacturing World
Osaka 2014 and Highly-functional Material World Osaka 2014. It does not include the
number of seminar attendees, press registrants and exhibitors.

2014 Highlights
8% increasing in exhibitors: 932 exhibitors (2014), comparing to 863 exhibitors (2013)
Though the number of exhibitors in 2013 was the largest in its 16-year history of the show,
Manufacturing World Osaka 2014 recorded the number of exhibitors once again increased
to 932 exhibitors.
Most-ever 117 international exhibitors brought in latest international trend
Recording the largest-ever number of overseas exhibitors, 117 exhibitors from 9 countries
outside Japan – China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and
United States – tapped the Japanese market.
China, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand held their own national pavilions, which made meeting
spots where Asia’s most advanced technologies would create the latest international trend.
The growing globalization and the Japanese economy’s recovery lead to lively exchanges
between overseas exhibitors and Japanese visitors. This trend is estimated to continue in
2015.

Business meetings were seen everywhere throughout the halls
Since this show is recognized as a must-attend show for manufacturing industry in Japan
and Asia, most of key industry players not only from exhibitor side, but also from visitor side
participated in Manufacturing World Osaka 2014 and their business meetings were seen
everywhere in the show venue.
Next edition is coming in June 2015 at Tokyo Big Sight
Manufacturing World is coming back soon in June 2015 at Tokyo where is another center of
Japanese manufacturing industry. Manufacturing World Japan 2015 is exactly Japan’s most
