Calling all Junior Paleontologists!
Natural History Museum Overnight
Friday, October 16th @ 3:30pm thru Saturday,
October 17th @ 9:30am
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a Paleontologist?
At this action-packed overnight field trip, you will get to be a junior
paleontologist and learn all about mummies! We will play prehistoric
games and make real casts of fossils to take home!
Best of all, we get to sleep in a museum hall!
The next day we will explore galleries until 9:00 am, at which time we
will then depart for New West.
The cost is $110 and it includes dinner, late night snack
on Friday and breakfast on Saturday morning.
(This fee also covers camp costs and transportation)
Payment and registration forms are due by
Friday, August 28 th 2012. Please make checks
payable to New West Charter and put your
child’s name and NHM in the notes. We also take
money order and cash.
The trip starts at 3:30 p.m. afterschool on Friday. We will watch Night
at the Museum and have pizza for dinner with drinks. We will depart
from New West at 5:00 p.m. and will return to New West on Saturday
at 9:30 a.m. Please make sure your child is picked up on
time.
We will need parent chaperones. Please contact Mr. K by email
[email protected] if you are interested. Parent chaperones are
expected to stay for the entire trip from beginning to end.
