LHS SENIOR CALENDAR 2017
MONDAY, MAY 8TH:
 Seniors will take 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th hour finals.
 Make sure senior bills are paid by 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 10th. Bills must be paid by cash or money
order.
TUESDAY, MAY 8TH:
 Seniors will take 2nd, 6th and 8th hour finals. Make sure senior bills are paid by 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, May
10th. Bills must be paid by cash or money order.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 10TH:
 Ask your teachers to complete your check-out form.
 Clean out your locker. This will be part of the check-out process.
 Chromebook check-in. Have your form signed by the technology department.
 Have your check-out form signed by the librarian.
 Bring the completed form to the office for final check-out. They will also check your lunch balance.
CHECK-OUT FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE UNTIL 8th HOUR ENDS.
 Senior bills MUST be paid by 2:45 p.m. today by cash or money order, including any negative lunch
balances. .
 NHS is cleaning bleachers after school. All are welcome to help.
 Baccalaureate in the Arnold Viebrock Activity Center – Sponsored by the Ministerial Alliance – 7:00 p.m.
THURSDAY, MAY 11th:
 Senior Fun Day at Bump City. All students MUST report to the Arnold Viebrock Activity Center by 8:00
a.m. All students MUST ride bus transportation provided by the school. Your signed permission slip must
be returned by Monday, May 8th. Students need to understand that this is not an optional attendance function.
Students who choose not to participate in Senior Fun Day will be required to attend their regularly scheduled
classes. You will be counted absent unexcused and it will count against your attendance if you do not attend the
Senior Fun Day or school this date.
FRIDAY, MAY 12th:
 Seniors report to the gym by 8:30 a.m. for pictures. Students not here by this time will not be in the
picture. Your graduation cap and gown must be the most outer worn garment. Please dress nicely – no
jeans, no tennis shoes, no flip flops. Boys, please wear dress shirt/tie.
 Commencement practice will start at 9:30 a.m.
IMPORTANT:
 YOU MUST meet all graduation requirements before you participate in any graduation activities.
 Your graduation cap and gown must be the most outer worn garment. NO CAP DECORATING
WILL BE PERMITTED. Please dress nicely – no jeans, no tennis shoes, no flip flops. Boys, please
wear a dress shirt and tie.
 All attendance requirements must be met, discipline issues must be resolved and all bills must be paid
before you may participate in graduation ceremonies.
SUNDAY, MAY 14th: Graduation Day!!
 2:00 p.m. – Seniors will meet in the Arnold Viebrock Activity Center. Be dressed in caps & gowns.
Commencement ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m.
 Immediately following graduation ALL SENIORS MUST report to the office to pick up award
packets, diplomas, grade cards, and other important information. EVERYONE will have a packet so
PLEASE stop by the office to pick yours up.
