Chris has been Ben Franklin's "21st century
business manager" since 2004, and plans
on continuing to delight audiences with
Ben's wit and wisdom for many years to
come. A native New Yorker, Chris has been
a teacher/actor for over 50 years.

Lowell’s double career as a teacher and an
actor/director has taken him, like the
character he presents, to both Philadelphia
and France. He taught and acted in
Philadelphia for six years, and in France he
taught in Brittany, the region where Ben
Franklin first touched French soil as our first
ambassador in December of 1776. And in
2007, at the invitation of the French
government, Chris brought Ben back to
France for a series of presentations (in
French) for the business and diplomatic
communities. He continues to act
occasionally in professional theater, when
his schedule as Ben permits.
He has been awarded "Best Actor of the
Year" three times: twice by the media in
Colorado Springs and, in 2011, by the
Denver Post, which honored him with
their 'Ovation' Award for “Best Actor of
the Year in a Dramatic Role.”
Ben's multi-faceted life and many
accomplishments continue to inspire today.
As Franklin, Chris has presented for large
groups and small, for organizations as
varied as Key Bank, the National League of
Cities, Amway, the Iowa Hospital
Association, Urbana University and the
Nebraska Bar Association. He takes
particular care in crafting his presentations
according to the needs and wishes of each
client and always includes a lively and often
