Better Bones Team
The UCD Better Bones Exercise Programme
is a joint initiative of UCD Sport,
UCD Bone Health Physiotherapy Group,
St Vincent’s University Hospital
What the Cost Involves
The cost of the programme is €150. This covers the
initial screening with a member of the UCD Better
Bones team and an introduction to the programme
during week 1 followed by 6 weeks of UCD Better
Bones exercise classes tailored to improve your bone
health. Also included in the package is education on
Osteoporosis and strategies and exercises to reduce
your risk of bone fracture.
How to Register:
Registration takes place at UCD Sport reception desk.
You must complete the UCD Better Bones registration
form and pay €150 by cash / cheque (made payable to
UCD Sport) or by debit/credit card.

partnership with St Vincent’s University Hospital

participants for the next programme.

Criteria to Participate:
• 55 years of age or older
• Think you are at risk of osteoporosis (brittle
bones)
• Know you already have osteoporosis
• Would like to start exercising to build better
bones
