Dear Parent/Guardian:
The State of Illinois requires all children in Kindergarten, Second and Sixth grade to
have an oral health examination. This includes all public, private and parochial school students. Examinations must be performed by a licensed dentist and he/she needs to sign the
Proof of Examination form.
If you have a child in these grades and they have not yet visited the dentist this school
year, please make an appointment! We are required by the State of Illinois to show proof of
a dental exam!
Thank you for your cooperation.

upcoming school year. The event will run from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Students will receive some

school year. Students will have access to the school to drop off school supplies from 10:30 A.M.11:00 A.M. We hope to see our entire school at this event. If you would like to assist with the event

STUDENT COUNCIL
Student Council is sponsoring a Blood Drive on June 1st from 2:00-6:00 P.M. in the Jr. High gym.
In addition to saving lives, this drive will determine the amount of the scholarships for the Class of

hope you will be able to attend this event. As a special thank you to those that donate, the American Red Cross will be offering a free ticket to Magic Waters for each donor. Thank you for your

From the Libraries . . .
Our annual Spring Scholastic buy one-get one Book Fair was a huge success. It totaled
$1700.00 in book sales. The library receives nothing from our spring sale as it is a thank you
to our customers who support us in the fall Scholastic sale. We would like to thank Jodi Howell, Kristen Hickey, Kari Dalki and Kathy Lamb. We couldn't do it without our helpers.
Keep sending in your box tops. Campbell's points will be taken until the end of May then
Campbells will be ending the program permanently. We will send what we have at that time!

Paw Paw Schools Memorial Wall
A memorial wall is being established at the entrance of the High School. Its purpose is for
families to remember loved ones who have attended Paw Paw Schools and for individuals
who have an attachment to the schools and want to leave a lasting legacy. To remember
loved ones or leave a legacy, paw prints with names can be purchased starting at $150. The
paw prints with the names and years of life or graduating class year, will be prominently displayed on the wall. The money collected for the wall will be used for projects that are permanent. If you are interested in purchasing a paw print, contact Patty Torman at 815-627-2841
x228.
