ISTA 2015 Vienna Call for Abstracts and Award Papers - New Deadline May 18th
ISTA 2015 Vienna Call for
Abstracts and Award Papers.
New Deadline May 18, 2015
Dear Colleague,
The International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA) continues to break
new grounds as the premier event where the very latest research and development
in arthroplasty is presented. It is now accepted as the event to present and learn
about technology breakthroughs well before any other meeting or publication.
ISTA’s 28th Annual Congress will be held 30 Sept. – 3 Oct. 2015 in the beautiful city
of Vienna, in Austria. Vienna is known to be the haven for refined, music, art, history
and a must visit for anyone with an interest in culture.
ISTA has become the unique forum where the most enthusiastic clinicians,
engineers, researchers, and industry from across the globe come together to present
and discuss cutting edge work.
The meeting is also focused on providing a favorable opportunity for new
researchers to present their work, and offers awards for young investigators. This is
an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to established experts.
Exciting themes at ISTA Vienna include navigation, custom jigs and new advances in
robotic surgery, new developments in bearing materials, and new surgical
approaches, as well as the usual topics that ISTA makes sure are covered and are
educationally rich.
The ISTA Board of Directors is thrilled that Prof. Brian Davies, a world renowned
pioneer in the field of surgical robotics, has been chosen as the recipient of ISTA’s
Lifetime Achievement Award. He will be present during the Vienna congress to
receive this well-deserved award during our traditional gala dinner, taking place at
Vienna’s lavish City Hall.
We warmly invite you to submit your research for presentation by May 18th
and come to participate with us from 30 September - 3 October 2015 in Vienna,
Austria.
Best wishes,
