• Now read this description of the Triangular
Trade and annotate your map. On your
map you should identify:
• The shape of the voyage i.e draw arrows
to show the journey of each part of the trip
• What was carried on each leg of the
journey
• What goods were traded at the “corners”
of the triangle

Home passage
• The voyage from Britain to Africa took
about 40 days
• West Africa to West Indies- 38 days
• West indies to Britain – 50-60 days
