Fold the cardboard in half to form a square. 3. Cut a length of yarn that can wind around your cardboard pieces. 4. Wrap the yarn around your first piece of cardboard and tie the ends in a knot. Pirate Patterns: Math Activity Kit, by Flash Kids 5. Repeat with your second piece of cardboard. 6. Dip your stamp (knot side up) into a plastic plate/bowl of finger paint. 7. Press your stamp onto a white piece of paper. 8. Repeat with your second stamp and a different color of paint to create a pattern.
