Dear Sisters in Christ,
We all need some special time to take a break – get away from it all – step out of the busy and fastpaced world in which we live. The Epiphany Women’s Emmaus offers the perfect opportunity to gift yourself
with time to reflect on your spiritual life as well. By attending the upcoming Emmaus retreat on November 18,
19, and 20, 2011, you will walk with Jesus on your own spiritual journey of self-discovery.
You will establish new friendships and return to your families and friends with a better understanding of
yourselves and of how our Lord lives and works in our daily lives. This is a weekend in which we gather with
other women of the parish to share and learn about growing in our faith . . . a time for reflection . . . a time to
enrich our spirituality and get closer to our Lord.

Date: November 18, 19, & 20, 2011
Place: The retreat takes place on the Epiphany grounds
Time: The retreat begins at 7:00 p.m. SHARP on Friday, November 18, 2011, and ends at 3:00 p.m Sunday,
November 20, 2011.
Drop Off: Between 6:30 -7:00 pm at Epiphany Convent - 5555 SW 84th Street (between Epiphany School and
Lourdes Academy)
Mass: Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Epiphany (formal conclusion of the
retreat). Please invite your family. There will be a reception immediately following the Mass.
We will not be serving dinner on Friday evening so please make arrangements to eat before arriving. Please
leave all cellular phones at home. This is your time to get away and disconnect from the world. In case of an
emergency only, you may be reached at the numbers listed below or (305) 667-4911.
You will need to bring the following items:
• pillow, sheets, blanket, towel
• personal toiletries and
• medication
