50K OF HD 50K
Milestones are made to celebrate, and Angus Genetics, Incorporated (AGI) and Zoetis Genetics will recognize a big
one in the near future. Before the end of the year, the 50,000th Angus will be tested using the Zoetis HD 50K test—
more HD genomic tests than any other beef breed in the world!
GE-EPDs powered by Zoetis HD 50K for Angus provide highly dependable and predictable options in genetic
evaluation for registered Angus cattle in the United States. HD 50K is a powerful genomic tool that helps producers
predict genetic merit of young, unproven Angus cattle.
Zoetis is proud to be able to partner with AGI to provide the Zoetis HD 50K test and play an important role in
identifying superior Angus genetics. As evidence of its success, based on the November 8th weekly AGI genetic
evaluation, 25 of the top 25 proven sires for $B were tested with Zoetis HD 50K for Angus. In addition, the following
were tested with Zoetis HD 50K:
• 25 of the top 25 non-parent bulls for $B
• 25 of the top 25 non-parent females for $B
• 21 of the top 25 proven dams for $B

As a thank-you to our customers for helping us reach this milestone,
Zoetis will provide customers with high-quality commemorative jackets for
Zoetis HD 50K test requests received by AGI in November and December.
• Producers will receive one commemorative jacket for every 10 animals
submitted for HD 50K testing in from November 1 – December 31, 2013.
• Customers who have tested 100 or more animals can have their ranch
name embroidered on the front of each jacket.
• Maximum of 10 jackets per operation.
• The commemorative jacket order form must be submitted by December 31, 2013.

Durable wind- and water-resistant exterior. Unique construction allows “4-way stretch” and
nonrestrictive, comfortable fit. Breathability keeps skin dry and cool and elastic inner cuff
layer keeps sleeves sealed. Fleece interior is warm and lightweight. The women’s version
sports a tighter cut that creates a more defined waistline.
All jackets are stylish black and will have the commemorative HD 50K logo embroidered on
one sleeve and “ANGUS THE BUSINESS BREED” or your ranch name/logo embroidered on
the front.
