It's Official! Las Vegas' Coolest Boutique Hotel Is
The Cromwell
The wait is over! The Cromwell room reservations now available for first guest stays beginning May 21, 2014.
Opening in Spring 2014, the newest Caesars Entertainment resort is the only stand- alone luxury lifestyle boutique hotel and casino of its
kind on the Las Vegas strip. With its prime location on one of the busiest intersections of the Las Vegas Strip – one that welcomes more
than 20 million passersby each year – The Cromwell Hotel and Casino will offer an exceptional luxury Las Vegas hotel experience in an
intimate boutique hotel setting.
Blending vintage with modern and drawing inspiration from Coste Hotel in Paris, The Cromwell will feature limestone windows
surrounding awning covered balconies. The 169 hotel rooms and 19 suites will be reminiscent of Parisian loft-style apartments with
distressed hardwood flooring and vintage luggage motif furnishings. Lighting recalls French provincial styling with black and white
mosaic tiled shower walls acting as the canvas for miscellaneous English-French phrases.
Owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment, The Cromwell is a $185 million renovation and re-imagination of the former Bill’s
Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon. Architect, Leo A. Daly and Las Vegas-based design studio, Tandem Las Vegas, designed The Cromwell to blend
vintage with modern. One of the most noticeable exterior features is the black Parisian-style awnings and ornate black railings,
repurposed from the original structure, punctuating each room window. From the moment guests enter the Porte Cochere, they will
be intrigued with the luxury appeal and whimsical details of The Cromwell.
Impressive barrel-vaulted ceilings will pay homage to the original design while beautiful custom chandeliers will reinstate an original
element of the nostalgic Bill’s resort. A warm palette of red, gold and browns will fashion the sexy, intimate Interlude bar and lounge.
Inspirations for Bound, the lobby bar, draw upon a vintage Parisian parlor featuring bookshelves with leather-bound books and
eclectic embellishments.
Each of the 188 rooms and suites will evoke a residential feel with distressed hardwood flooring, vintage luggage
and trunk-style furnishings. Custom photographic artwork by the acclaimed Deborah Anderson will evoke a
sentiment of allure. Adding to the whimsical motif are black-and-white mosaic-tiled showers with playful
English-French phrases adorning the walls.
