RJ dry cake discharge
1. Introduction
The MAHLE Roto Jet V-sump filter is specially designed for the
filtration of difficult, aggressive or hazardous products where minimum exposure of the product to the atmosphere is permitted and
perfect dry cake discharge is required. At the end of each filter
cycle the main shaft and filter leaves rotates slowly (approx. ½ rpm)
and the filter cake is scraped off mechanically by the closely mounted scraper blades. The dry cake falls into the V-sump and is removed by the screw conveyor. Each MAHLE Roto Jet V-sump filter
is equipped as standard with our Roto lock door which enables internal inspection of the filter within seconds. Alternative closures are
available. MAHLE Industrial Filtration offers the Roto Jet V-sump
filter in sizes from 3 m² up to 200 m² and in various design codes
and materials.
