NO SORTING NEEDED! PUT ALL YOUR RECYCLABLES IN YOUR KIMBLE TOTE!
There is no need to bundle your newspapers, cardboard and other materials separately. We do encourage you rinse your recyclable containers to help reduce
odors, insect attraction, liquid soiling of fiber products and rejection of containers at the recycling plant.
Look for the recycling symbols embedded at the bottom of most plastics bottles to identify the #1 - #7 recyclable plastics. All the recyclable items can be
mixed together in your recycling container. The recyclables will be segregated and prepared for market at our recycling facility. Thank you for helping
make your community recycling program a success!
We do not recycle paint cans, or anti-freeze and motor oil containers. We do not recycle wax cartons, batteries, light bulbs, or wire
hangers. With regard to plastics #1 through #7, we recycle the rigid containers used for food, beverage, and health and beauty aid
products, but not plastic bags, Styrofoam, toys, or plastic utensils.

Kimble works hard to preserve precious landfill capacity by recycling nearly 350,000 pounds of post-consumer waste EACH DAY! We are excited to
continue the curbside collection program for the residents of Millersburg. We encourage participation in this program which provides residents a convenient
way to help the environment, while helping the Village earn charitable donations from Kimble. Kimble tracks and reports the amount of recyclables
collected from residents, and in turn makes charitable donations at the discretion of the Village based on total tons recycled.
Recyclables will be collected EVERY-OTHER-WEEK by a separate recycling truck. Simply place your recycling tote next to your trash items on collection
day. Leave three feet of space between recycling tote and other objects, with lid opening facing the street.
To assist you, the recycling pickup schedule is shown above. All recyclables collected in the Village will be taken to the Kimble Recycling facility to be
processed, segregated and returned to market. Thank you for helping make Millersburg’s recycling program a success.
