Social
Social classes: The highest class
you could be was the
emperor.He had people to help
him and he had (if he wanted to)
more than one wife. The lowest
class was the slaves. The worked
for the rich and sometimes had
slaves of their own.
Education: Shi Huangdi decided
which books were good and
which weren't. If a student
refused to give the book up,
they were killed.
Political
Leader: Qin Shi Huangdi was the
leader. His real name was Ying
Zheng. He made the Great Wall.
He became king at 22. Death
took him while he was traviling.
Laws/Punishments: One of the
laws was about how you were
suppose to address certain
people. Some of the
punishments were harsh. You
would be beat until you told the
truth. You could get your nose
cut off or one or both feet cut
off. Usually people didn't even
realize they were breaking a law
because there were so many.
Economical
Money: The coins were called
banliang. They were bronze.
They had a square hole in the
middle. The Qin also used gold.
They used this for trade.
Trade: They traded food, art,
weapons and mostly silk. They
had tons of silk because they
bred silkworms. They traded
banliang and gold as well.
