SELECTING A PRINT
Have fun looking through the catalog! The prints are numbered and then
listed again by number on the form inside the back cover of the catalog.
If you have a favorite you don’t see here, or you’re looking for something
more specific, give us a call and we can certainly try to grant your wish.
ASPECT RATIO
the
picture
store
You’ll see the term “aspect ratio” underneath every picture in this catalogue.
What IS an aspect ratio? It’s the proportion of the short side of an image
to its long side. So, a square image has an aspect ratio of 1:1.
An image twice as long on one side as the other has an aspect ratio of 1:2.
You can calculate print sizes yourself, but we’ve calculated some standard
sizes from the aspect ratios, which we also list under each print.
