How do warm colours make you feel? Best Use of Warm Colours Warm colours are hues like red, yellow and orange. They are opposite to the colour wheel of cool colours like blue, green and purple. Why do you think the artist chose warm colours? What objects are included in this artwork? Most Interesting Subject Matter Why are they interesting? The subject matter is the objects we immediately see in the artwork. Draw the shapes has the artist used… Best Use of Shape Shapes are flat and may be created with lines or colour values. Shapes are often described as either geometric or organic. What is the effect of these shapes? Describe the texture… Is it smooth / rough / soft / matte / glossy / furry / sticky / shiny? Most Curious Texture The texture is the surface of the artwork. It could be actual texture you can feel, or created with the paint, sculpted, or captured in the photograph.
