One Sentence. Supervisor love encoding their messages, covering their tracks and
aiming a well-placed kick up the arse. A characteristic that bands mostly go to great
lengths to avoid in order to please. Their debut This Heavy Sea is no sightseeing trip but
a raucous party on water.
We are in the year 2011. One Sentence. Supervisor (OSS) have established their line-up and with
their demo More, have uttered their first sounds. As More is of a conscious experiment rather than
random luck, the quartet manage to capture the zeitgeist perfectly. OSS are busily playing
anything that occurs to them.
One Sentence. Supervisor are from Baden (CH) and part of a vibrant local scene. The band uses it
to draw its energy from – a solid, nurturing growing medium. They thrive as they seek to surprise
and bewitch with intentional simplicity. With their debut This Heavy Sea, OSS tie up their blooming
flowers into a bouquet and set sail.
At times, listening to OSS makes you think of a cat that has fallen into water: a sort of noiseless
struggle. This interplay of circumstances is an ode to life, bighearted in itself and towards the rest
of the world.

(drums).
