You’ll find the city very accessible with major businesses, key office buildings and attractions within walking distance and Grand Hyatt Denver right in the middle of all of it. We are just one block from the 16th Street Mall, where you’ll find a free shuttle that connects LoDo (lower Downtown) with the State Capitol, running the full length of the heart of downtown Denver and all of the shopping, dining and entertainment in between. Denver transportation Denver International Airport (DEN) Grand Hyatt Denver is accessible from Denver International Airport via several modes of transportation. Getting Around Denver Denver offers several modes of transportation for getting around the area. • 16th Street Shuttle – Runs throughout the central business and entertainment district of downtown Denver. We recommend allowing an hour for transportation from Grand Hyatt Denver to Denver International Airport. • Light Rail Service/RTD – Stops at most corners in the city, including Invesco Field, Pepsi Center/Elitch Gardens, Union Station, LoDo (Lower Downtown/Coors Field/16th Street Mall. Many of the Mile High City’s best attractions are within easy walking distance. Or, better yet, a short B-cycle ride. Find stations throughout the downtown Denver area. Denver attractions • Colorado Convention Center – three blocks from the hotel. Opened in 1990, this 584,000 sq. ft. facility hosts 250 events annually including some of the largest and most notable, such as the 2008 Democratic National Convention and the annual SnowSports Industries America. It is also the home of the 5,000-seat Bellco Theatre. • Downtown Aquarium – two miles from the hotel. This entertainment and dining complex features a public aquarium boasting more than a million gallons of underwater exhibits that highlight fascinating ecosystems around the world.
