Seven High-Altitude Tips
Denver really is a mile high — one mile above sea level. As a result, the air is just a little thinner
and dryer than you might be used to. During your visit, we recommend you follow these simple
tips and you’ll feel invigorated your entire stay.
1. Stay hydrated and drink lots of water.
2.Monitor your alcoholic intake.
3.Eat foods high in potassium.
4.Watch your physical activity.
5.Pack for the sun — remember you’re a mile
closer to it here.
6.Dress in layers.
7. Enjoy yourself!
