Sesquicentennial Ad Hoc Committee

Re: Community Survey – Feedback Received via Town Website
1.
As the Chair of and on behalf of the Events Committee for the Aurora
Sport Hall of Fame I would like to propose that our Inaugural
Induction Dinner Ceremony on November 9, 2013 and our pre-event
(possibly a softball tournament) on Labour Day weekend 2013, where
the inductees will be announced, be included as part of the
sesquicentennial celebrations. Both events are currently in the
planning stages and details and the dates will be confirmed shortly.
Sincerely,
Bruce Cuthbert
2.
The Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School is celebrating its 125th
Anniversary in May 2013. I think this would be worth the recognition
within the Town's 150th. I am a volunteer for the Williams reunion,
sitting on, among others, the Communication/Advertising committee.
Regards,
Tina Gordon
