SLO test on Wednesday, March 22 Assessment: Comprehension questions from protists and fungi videos Integrated Technology: SmartBoard, Discovery Education Standard/Objective: 6.L.5B.2 Analyze and interpret data to explain how the processes of photosynthesis, respiration, and transpiration work together to meet the needs of plants. 6.L.5B.5 Analyze and interpret data to describe how plants respond to external stimuli (including temperature, light, touch, water, and gravity). Plan for the day: Essential Question(s): What are the processes of plants? How do plants respond to stimuli? Learning Target(s): I can demonstrate my knowledge of the processes of plants and how they respond to simuli by successfully completing a Chapter 3 quiz. 1. Students will complete health first five. 2. Students will review their notes for 5 minutes before the quiz. 3. Students will complete a quiz on plant processes, tropisms, and review questions about plants. Wednesday 3/22/2017 Homework: SLO test on Wednesday, March 22 Assessment: Chapter 3 quiz Integrated Technology: none Standard/Objective: All 6th grade standards Plan for the day: Essential Question(s): What have I learned this year about weather, atmosphere, conservation of energy, plants, and animals? Learning Target(s): I can demonstrate my knowledge of weather, atmosphere, conservation of ene rgy, plants and animals by completing the SLO test to the best of my ability. 1. Students will complete the district SLO test to show what has been learned this year. 2. Students will begin completing the answers to their unit test study guide.
