ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
When a marriage ends in divorce, many other factors and experiences in the relationship also suffer.
Not only do the individuals experience the pain of the loss of marriage, they also experience challenges to
their beliefs about happiness, relationships and about themselves as people. When children become
involved, issues abound with regard to their concerns over the emotional impact on them, over their growth
and development and how they would live their lives eventually.
How do the individuals who are going through the process of divorce manage these effects? When the legal
professionals work with them, how should they be attended to? This workshop aims to orientate participants
to appreciate the impact of divorce on couples and their children and equip them with attending skills to
respond and work with their clients.
