PHI VS MAC
Though Barranco, Enriquez and Bolos could hit 50 points per
game without other teammates could stand out and regulate
for the team. Lack of players is the biggest problem to Philippines. Still, you have to watch out for their “hard-worker” style,
they have already shown us in last two games. On the other
hand, Macau’s guards played well in the preliminary. No matter
drive in or shoot outside, they can give a huge pressure to their
opponent. As for Lai Ka-tong, after hurting his back in the game
with MGL, will it be the X-factor to Macau? Let’s wait and see.
HKG VS TPE
HKG accomplished the initial goal of advancing to semifinal with
outstanding performances. To be mentioned, Lau Hoi-to grabbed
double-double in both preliminaries, Leung Shiu-wah, Ng Ka-hin, and
Tsai Choi-kwan stepped out for the team by turns. They shouldn’t be
underestimated. As for TPE, overcoming slow heating-on and unsatisfactory shooting rate, they eventually found confidence and played as
team with average attribution to the key victory. Besides Hsiao Shun-yi,
fluent offense and active defense overall will be decisive factors as well.
With the hope to go further, both sides will surely be out in force to fight
for the best result.
KOR VS CHN
Korea versus China, also strived for two universities-Myongji
and Peking. KOR always to be widely known as “quick, fierce
and accurate”. Everyone has the ability to shoot from perimeter
and three-point, especially for Kang ho-yeng. He made 7-10
three-point shot during the match against with HKG. CHN
played well in painted area. Besides Zhao Rui, Kuo Kai and Li Lin
who sprang up in third match also has strength to against.
