Hello,
Congratulations to the team of Mike Keller, Mike Klug and Jeremiah Quam for winning our 2015 Spring Walleye
Derby. They weighed in a total of 16.1 lbs. Mother Nature did not cooperate with any big fish or nice weather,
thanks to the big downpour at the end. Thanks to everyone who participated or helped out. Sheri put on another
great tournament. The fish fry was also great as always. A big thank you to Gray Oil for donating the propane for
the fish fry.
We also got to help out at the Wounded Warriors Guide Service. What a fantastic project, for those who deserve it. It was fun seeing the Veterans fishing again and the others supporting the project.
Take a Kid Fishing, our most important project of the year, and also the most fun watching those kids catch a fish is
priceless. Thank you, thank you, and thank you to everyone who helped with this event.
Everyone have a great summer, take a kid fishing, catch some fish and like us on Facebook at

KIDS DAY
We had a scary start in the morning (thunder, lightning and rain) but due to good leadership higher up then me, the event went on
and by 10 am the sun was shining. 43 kids spent the day painting t-shirts, fishing, eating and having a great ole time. Thanks Britt
for helping out with the t-shirts again. Loaf n Jug had a bigger volunteer show up then the Reel n Rec. Special thanks to Tootie,
Linda, Carl and the rest of the gang for helping out. Also thanks for the generous donation of money again this year. Thanks to
Mandan School System for the bus transportation, Southside Tesoro for the bait and to everyone else who helped make this event a
success. Kids are our future. Keep taking them fishing!
