In exercise of the powers vested in me by section 3 of the Sheep, Goats
and Pigs (Enumeration) Law, I, the Acting Governor, do by this Order
prescribe that—
(a) all pigs (excluding their unweaned offspring) shall be enumerated
between the 15th day of September, 1953 and the 16th day of
September, 1953, both days inclusive ; and
(b) all goats and sheep (excluding their unweaned offspring) shall
be enumerated between the 1st day of October, 1953 and the 3rd
day of October, 1953, both days inclusive.

In exercise of the powers vested in me by section 22 (a) (i) of the Villages
(Administration and Improvement) Law, 1950, I, the Acting Colonial
Secretary, do hereby order as follows :—
1. T h e Improvement Board of Lyso (hereinafter referred to as "the
Board ") shall be at liberty to borrow from the Loan Commissioners (hereinafter referred to as " the Lender ") a sum not exceeding two thousand one
hundred and forty pounds (£2,140) at a rate of interest not exceeding four
per centum (4%) per annum, subject to the following terms and conditions
that is to say :—
(a) the sum borrowed shall be repayable by the Board to the Lender
in twenty equal annual instalments (comprising sinking fund and
interest);
(b) the sum borrowed shall be utilized by the Board for the improvement
of the village water supply.
2. For the purpose of securing the repayment of the sum under the loan,
the Board shall, subject to any prior mortgage thereon, mortgage to the
Lender all the rates, fees, rents, tolls or charges now payable or hereafter to
become payable to the Board.
