Lorne Bozinoff, President [email protected] 416.960.9603 TORONTO May 11th, 2016 HIGHLIGHTS: Three quarters have drunk alcohol in the past year (76%), one half have gambled (53%) and about one fifth have used marijuana or cannabis (18%). One quarter of Manitobans do not drink (24%). About one half of Manitobans don’t gamble (47%). The vast majority do not smoke marijuana or use cannabis (or haven’t in the past year - 82%). The vast majority do not smoke marijuana or use cannabis (or haven’t in the past year - 82%), but, among those who do, toking is more frequent than drinking (1.7 times a week on average) or gaming (0.9 times a week, on average) at an average of 2.3 times per week., including one twenty fifth of adult Manitobans who smoke pot daily (4%).
