This week the students are responsible
for reading “Elijah Lovejoy” and “The
First African” which are in their packets
in their Resource section of their
binders. When they read, they should
create questions from the headings and
answer them using the reading. These
two readings are due THURSDAY. Also
on the website, are the directions for
these readings and the rubric used to
grade them. Lastly, a significant number
of students lost points for not
completing their work on time last
week. Please check grades using Parent

The Slavery Test will be this Friday.
Students should be studying all week
using their notes from the various
readings on slavery.
