GLOBAL COMMUNITY HAS ARRIVED VIA DIGITAL INTERNET TECHNOLOGY...South Florida
based Take 2 Productions has joined forces with companies in Chile and Hungary to collaborate on The Next
Generation of Corporate Training. George Barnes, President of Take 2 Productions, worked hand in hand
via the internet with two longtime international colleagues to design a streaming video internet site that is an
interactive corporate training program with accountability for large organizations and governments. The site will be used by
these entities to better streamline training and education programs and give them the hands-on ability to monitor employee’s
progress through the various training programs. Barnes has been watchful of corporate film production for many years and has
recently seen changes in the process, saying that “the line between technology and production is getting blurred, the departments
are no longer separate.” Barnes, a member of the two educational committees, the Career Education Business Leadership
Committee (CBLEC), a leadership group of subcommittees established by Superintendent Dr. Art Johnson to formalize
community and educator partnerships and Tech Prep, an advisory board established through the FTC’s education contract
with the county’s Economic
Development Office, feels that the
combining of production and
technology underscores the need for
strong technical education
programs in the school systems. For

MEDIA DELIVERY SYSTEM MAKES ITS WAY INTO RETAIL
STORES...Direct Link Marketing (DLM) has pioneered the
narrowcasting industry to be used outside of web-based applications through its Intelligent
Communications Network (ICN). DLM has placed big screen plasma displays in retail sporting
goods stores such as Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World and Turner’s to narrowcast advertising
and promotional content. ICN utilizes a revolutionary digital media delivery system to distribute
full-motion video messages to specific areas within targeted retail locations. Chuck Gaspari,
CEO of G&G Sports and Entertainment Group in West Palm Beach, partnered with Ron Scirrotto
and Kendell Hodges to bring this technology to the forefront. “The
ICN provides retailers with the ability to narrowcast targeted
messages to active shoppers,” Gaspari says. For more information,
please contact Direct Link Marketing at 561.721.3995.

The City of Belle Glade is the largest city within the 2,862,000 acre
subtropical Everglades and is well known for the rich soil known as Aerial Shot of Belle Glade
“Black Gold” that produces fruitful crops of celery, lettuce, sweet corn and sugar cane. The
city has a rich history whose earliest inhabitants were the Calusa Indians. In Belle Glade,
high school students attending Pahokee Middle Senior High School and Glades Central
Community High School live for the annual “Muck Bowl”, a name inspired by the rich
black humus muck soil that is prevalent in the area. November brought several TV producers
and filmmakers visiting the area to shoot the famed event. Three Fish Productions out of
West Palm Beach shot a documentary rightfully called The Muck
Bowl including team practices, documenting the hard work and
determination that students, coaches and the community put into
the event. RDC Entertainment also visited Glades Central for a
documentary
entitled Friday

exploring the
