TOWN MANAGER
The Town of Fenwick Island is seeking qualified
candidates for the position of Town Manager. Fenwick Island is a beach town located in southeastern
Sussex County, Delaware. There are 400 full time
residents and approximately 5,000 residents during
the summer season.
The Town Manager will report to Town Council and
will be responsible for the management / supervision
of approximately 13 year-round employees and an
additional 30 seasonal employees, as well as Town
operations. The ideal candidate must have excellent
verbal, written, personnel management and organizational skills. Knowledge of and experience in municipal government operations and management is a
definite plus, as well as experience in applying for
and administering government grants. A Bachelor’s
degree in Public Administration or related field is
strongly desired.
The applicant must be willing to relocate within a
reasonable distance of the Town of Fenwick Island.
Salary is dependent on experience and education.
An excellent benefit package is available.
