Vacation Bible Camp
July 10-14 | 9AM-12 noon | For children 4 yrs-6th Grade
Maker Fun Factory is all about creating, inventing & discovering! The children will participate
in games, music, Bible learning experiences, cinema & science. The cost for this adventure is
$30 for one child, $50 for two & $70 for three or more in the same family. Camp fills up, so

Pray for Safety, Peace & Faith for Armed Services Personnel
 Blanks, Ann & Ken: ask for prayers for son Sgt. Micah Blanks. “Micah’s training date has been pushed back to
may 31st. He will be back east for 7 weeks. Pray for him & his family, Nicole & Zoe. Please pray that he will get
the Washington State assignment.”
 Davies, Dr. Will & Nadine: Please continue prayers for grandson Specialist Chris Crocco, who is stationed at
Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Christopher’s family really appreciates the prayers.
 Gibson, Pat & Brian: request prayer for their son in the military, Specialist John Gibson & his family, who are
stationed in Germany. Pray for the family’s health.
 Leacock, Scott: finished combat training at Pendleton last August & is in Pensacola FL for 9-12 months to be
trained to work on airplane electronics. Pray for God’s protection.
 Williams, Marie: Praise God that Combat Medic P01 Robert Hinkley has returned home after being away on a
military training mission. His wife Rebecca (Marie’s granddaughter) is pregnant & has had difficulties related to the
pregnancy, but is doing well right now. Pray for her to be able to come to full term & for a healthy delivery. Please
continue to pray for this family.

 Ciaramilaro, Yvette: (Previously Pastor Mark’s
assistant) “Keep me in prayer please…I’m getting some
tests done … keep me in prayer that I am cancer
free.”[5a]
 Fernandez, Joyce: Would like prayer for her aunt, Olga
Cossi who is having serious difficulty with her heart & is
in the hospital at age 96. “She is my dear Mom’s sister &
has been the rock of our family. Pray for healing if it is
God’s will, & peace & comfort for her & her husband Don,
as well as the rest of their close-knit family.”[5a]
 Irwin, Anne: asks for prayer for her uncle Tom who is a
diabetic & has other health issues. He is currently
suffering with a great deal of pain. Please pray that his
Dr. will be able to diagnose his condition properly, for
effective treatment & for relief from pain.[5a]
 Irwin, Anne: Dr. has finally discovered the reason for the
stomach pain that Anne has been experiencing & she will
now begin treatment. Please pray that medication will be
effective & she will be healed.[5a]
 Gary & Valerie Smith: "Please pray for our son-in-law
Joe. He has just been diagnosed with diabetes. His
blood sugar was extremely high."[5a]
Continued Prayer
 Blanks, Sharon: “Please pray for Eddie Blanks. He
has been diagnosed with I.P.F—the life expectancy is 5
years, there is no cure, no treatment. It is life changing,
he is on oxygen 24/7. He is now taking an experimental
drug; pray it will shrink the scarring of his lungs. He is
extremely depressed. Pray for strength for Eddie &
me.”[4e]
 Busby, David: Please pray about the following: “all 3 of
my kids are sick. Two older ones are in bad shape. Can
only hold one job because of the care needed. Extremely
stressful for mom, trying to keep it all together with Dr
appointments & medications, finances, health & peace.
We’re at our wits’ end.”[4a]
 Falter, Cynthia: “Please pray for friend, former St.
Andrew’s member & woman of God, Anne Gick, who just
received a breast cancer diagnosis. She is prepared to
tackle surgery & chemotherapy over 16 weeks followed
by radiation over 5 weeks. Please pray for expertise for
her Drs. & strength for her immediate family, including her
devoted husband & 3 teenage children.” [3c]
 Farrier, Joel: “Good colleague Brandon Russell, died
Saturday during a half-marathon. He was 34 years old &
about to be married. Please pray for his family &
fiancé.” [4c]
 Fernandez, Joyce: requests continued prayer for friend
Beverly whose cancer has not responded well to chemo
treatments. She must now undergo radiation, which has
been painful for her. Pray for healing, patience & God’s
strength emotionally & physically.[4a]
 Gibson, Rod: Pray for Julie, wife of Paul Ford, a
missionary to Christian leaders from Uganda to Ukraine.
She has been diagnosed with multiple tumors. Pray for
proper diagnosis, aggressive treatment & healing.[Gill,
Jack: “Please pray for my son John. He has a drug
problem & is in rehab. Pray for his wife & son. Thank
you.”[4e]
 Kintz, Carolyn: “My friend Karen Olds is dealing with
cancer that is no longer responding to treatment. Pray for
peace & comfort & the knowledge that God is with
her.”[4e]
 Nazarian, Jenny: “This year St. Andrew’s will be
reaching out to the children in our community aged 4-11
through Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible Camp. This
event will be held July 10-14 from 9am to noon. We covet
your prayers as we plan this event. Please pray for
volunteers to help, finances for supplies, health & safety
for the staff & children who come & most of all, pray that
these children will come to know the love that God has for
them! Thanks! [4a]
 Riehlman, Phil & Dayla: “Pray for Frank & Anna, as he
goes through chemo. Pray for healing.”[4e]
 Taylor, Mary Ann: Please continue to pray for
daughter-in-law’s mother Sandra, who has been
dealing with many health issues, has been in & out of
the hospital & has been on a feeding tube for a long
time. Pray for relief from pain & discomfort, & for
strength & patience as she deals with the feeding
tube process & that she will feel the presence of the
Lord.[4e]
 Taylor, Mary Ann: met a woman named Gina at
Costco & while they were talking she told Mary Ann
that she has cancer throughout her whole body &
wanted Mary Ann to pray with her right then & there.
She would appreciate our prayers now as she goes
in for more testing. Pray for God’s healing hand to be
on Gina.[4c]
Jordan: Pray that the refugee
crisis would provide an opportunity
for many to hear the gospel.
Turkey: Pray that those who have
fled to Turkey from Syria would
find rest in Christ.
Libya: Pray for daily protection for
migrant believers. They remain
under threat of being kidnapped at any moment
because of their vulnerable position.
 Taylor, Mary Ann: requests prayers for Edith, a
family acquaintance who works for the school district
& has just been advised by Drs that she may have
M.S. & will be tested soon. Also, on the same day
she received this information, her father was told that
he has throat cancer. Pray for Edith & her father.[4a]
 Wilbanks, Deanna: “Please pray for my sister
Laura for financial assistance. She is a hair stylist
working out of her home. May God give her wisdom
& discernment.”[4e]

Missionary of the Month
Youth With A Mission: Conrad Küsel works with the Training Ministry at the base at YWAM LA,
raising up and mentoring young school leaders and helping their programs run with excellence while
helping to pioneer new training schools.
Flame of Unity
This week the Flame of Unity goes to the Korean Presbyterian Church of South Bay,1444 W.
Rosecrans Ave., Gardena, 90249. “We put our genuine effort into communicating with the nonchurched Korean second generation of young people in the area of leadership training with the
Christian gospel.”
