Instructions: Please read these carefully.
1) Which questions do I need to do?
At the start of each task is a question number.
You could try to complete as many tasks as possible but the minimum required is:
Set 4 need to complete Question 1, making the solids and completing the table.
Sets 2 and 3 need to complete questions 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Set 1 need to complete all questions. You must make the solids to answer questions
fully.
Please note that levels are given for each question.
2) Where do I write my answers?
Write the answers in the spaces provided. If you need to, write additional work on paper.
Remember to write your name on any extra sheets.
3) How long should I spend each day?
You have 5 hours for this homework. You should spend about an hour a day to complete
this task within the week. You are welcome to do more.
Resources: You will need scissors and paste (or sellotape).

You work for a design company and have been asked to design a box that will hold 18 sweets.
Each sweet is 2cm in diameter and 1cm thick.
The box must be made from a single sheet of card with as little cutting as possible. (You could
use a cereal packet for the card).
