Some of our educators from Garden Suburbs have sent in small bio’s so families can get to know their faces, names and a little bit about them before the opening day . We are excited to have such an amazing team coming together! Hi, my name is Renee! I’ve been in the Early Childhood Industry for 4 years and I have completed my Certificate III in Children’s Services and my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I have grown up in Forbes, a small country town which I was born in and moved to Newcastle in June to begin the next chapter in my life with my partner Gavin who is from England. My hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, baking, reading and being outdoors. I love to go on Nature bush walks, beach walks, explore in caves and visit open gardens. I wish to create a loving, caring, nurturing learning environment for your child to feel safe, secure and supported. I believe in creating positive interactions with your child to develop their self-esteem and allow them to grow, learn and explore. Each child is unique and should have their own individuality, cultural background and beliefs respected and encouraged. I hope to build strong trusting relationships with your child and family by providing a sense of belonging and being welcoming and friendly. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your children Hi, my name is Mel!
