HOSITPAL, IT’S ON THE OPPOSITE END (EASTERN SIDE) OF THE CAMPUS.
Dear Student
To enable you to attend a clinical placement as part of your course, you need to be either “verified” or
“temporarily verified”, and have your verification updated in the student database called ClinConnect –
no later than 7 days prior to placement. To attend a clinic appointment pre- organised by the student
clinical placement unit at your university/TAFE – see address & instructions below.
For clinic appointments: you will need to bring all relevant documentation for your appointment ie. ALL
Immunisation documents, Code of Conduct, TB Forms 2&3, original National Police Check
(no copies will be accepted) – please also bring your student ID with you for identification.
For National Police Checks ONLY: Please bring your original NPC and student ID - No appointment
necessary.

Driving:
Entrance to the Eastern Campus is via Scrivener St, drive all the way to the end of Scrivener St and you
will arrive at a cul-de-sac where there is a boom gate. This is the Eastern Campus – you should see a
cream coloured 2 storey building in front of you. You will need to find parking on the street and walk
through the boom gate. Parking on the street is limited; however your appointment should take no more
than 5-10 minutes.
ONCE INSIDE THE BOOM GATE - walk to the RIGHT; follow the road a short way around the bend in the
road (about 80m). On the RIGHT opposite the 2nd boom gate is a building with a black entrance with a
sign on it called Ngara Education Centre – this is where we are. See link below for google map, as well as
the map attached for instructions once inside the hospital grounds.

Walking/Public Transport:
If catching a train/bus, Liverpool Station is the closest station and is walking distance. The Liverpool
hospital map (2nd attachment) has the walking directions as well as directions once on the property if
driving.
Walking: At Liverpool station (on main side of Liverpool), turn right, walk straight down Bigge St a few
blocks to Elizabeth street (running alongside Bigge Park), turn right on Elizabeth St. Walk straight down
2 blocks, Liverpool hospital is on the left across the road.
1. Enter the hospital via the Elizabeth Street Entrance - Entrance B (see map).
2. Take Lift A (on your left) to Level 1, once at level 1 - exit lift and go LEFT.
3. Then turn RIGHT down the first open corridor. This is the Clinical Services Building and you
SHOULD see big glass windows on your left and the photo gallery on the right . You are going the
right WAY!!
4. Walk ALL the way to the other end of the Clinical Services Building past the museum displays
STAYING on Level 1. Keep walking past ALL LIFTS AND CLINICS around corridors which will
swerve left and right, till you get to a set of white doors that leads you across an enclosed bridge
that crosses the railway line.
5. Gor through doors, walk across the bridge until you get to the staff carpark. Take the lift in the
carpark down to Level 2.
6. At level 2 exit LEFT, cross the yellow pedestrian walkway - down 3-4 stairs till you get out the
opposite exit of the carpark (directly opposite lift).
7. Once outside carpark, turn LEFT and follow the pathway all the way to the road past the park &
demountables on your right (this path curves to the right towards road). Then cross the road at
the crossing on your left. You will see a brown and black building in front of you. This is the
Ngara Education Centre. YOU ARE HERE!!! Go to reception.
