How to determine drop dates for Non-Standard term courses
(Courses which have start and end dates different from regular semester)
In order to determine drop and withdrawal dates for courses that have different start and end
dates which are different from the regular semester go into your SIS account and click on this
icon Below is only an example. You must select the specific course(s) from your schedule
in order to see the correct dates. Remember every non-standard courses has unique dates.
Do not let the terminology below concern you. Here is what it really means
Drop Delete Record means no grade or record of you being in the course will be record from
the beginning of registration for Fall 2016, 4/1/16, until the end of the second week of classes
9/18/16.
Drop Retain Record & Drop with Penalty means a DR will be recorded on your transcript if you
drop this course between 9/19/16 and 10/17/16
Drop with Greater Penalty means you must petition for permission to drop a course and you
must have an appropriate reason. SEE an ADVISOR or GBOSS 920 465 2657
Cancel means exactly what it says
Withdraw without Penalty means if you drop all courses i.e. withdraw from UWGB for the
semester before 9/19/16 no grades will be assigned for the semester
Withdraw with Penalty means a W will be assigned to all courses for the semester if you drop
all courses between 9/19/16 and 10/17/16.
Withdraw with Greater Penalty means you must contact GBOSS 920 465 2657 in order to
withdraw/drop all courses for the semester from 10/18/16 to 11/28/16
