Sazka starts to offer the most popular lottery games online
The largest lottery company in the Czech Republic is experiencing a significant
milestone in its long-standing history. Sazka is offering to the customers a
possibility to play lotteries on the Internet. A new portal Sazka.cz is at the moment
offering Sportka, Eurojackpot and other popular lotteries. A brand new Sazka Bet
offer is also part of the entertainment portal.
“After years of waiting for the change of legislation which enables to operate online
lotteries, Sazka is entering digital environment. Our ambition is to have the widest
and the most varied portfolio of games on the Internet which will be gradually
launched during the following months. Apart from our traditional lotteries the
customers also can look forward to brand new online games which fit in our concept

Thanks to enormous popularity of Sazka products a significant part of the Czech
Republic inhabitants is affected by the new possibility of playing the lotteries.
“Already now a half of adult population occasionally plays the lotteries with Sazka.
What´s more, lotteries and scratch cards are enjoyed not only by men but also by
women. Unlike odds betting or casino games which are strongly connected to a
special base of players, typically men. We believe that the availability of our lotteries
on a computer, a mobile phone or a tablet will capture the interest of a number of
our new customers. However, I would like to emphasize that our network of

On www.sazka.cz Sazka customers can now play online lotteries: Sportka,
Eurojackpot, Euromiliony and Kasička. Moreover, new entertainment portal also
delivers a complete offer of Sazka Bet. Odds betting have undergone significant
changes and much more attractive offer has been prepared for customers. For

Sportka online from the comfort of your home
The availability of games on the Internet means better comfort and convenience for
all customers. They can fill in the e-ticket whenever and wherever thanks to the
possibility to play the lotteries online. Moreover, customers will receive an
automatic notification in case of winning and therefore they do not have to check
their numbers on the terminal in stone shops. The only condition resulting from the
law is the registration of the user on the website Sazka.cz where he or she fills in
personal data.
“Registration takes only a few minutes and does not require a personal visit of the
stone shop, every step can be solved online. The new portal is very intuitive and wellarranged. Current offer will be soon completed by other popular games, for example
scratch cards or lottery Štastných 10 where we are waiting for a final permission
from the regulator,” Robert Chvátal explains.
Online is particularly appreciated by younger customers
New way of interaction with Sazka products should especially focus on younger
target group. Within this group usage of modern technologies is common on a daily
basis. “Our internal analyzes show that one of the main barrier of young people for
buying a lottery ticket is a reluctance to visit a traditional selling place. However, the
possibility to play Sportka directly on the Internet is interesting and tempting for this
generation,” Robert Chvátal concludes.
When launching the significant project of online lotteries, Sazka cooperated with
several contractors from abroad and the Czech Republic. In particular the following
