A United World At Peace – Through Education
Sixth Form coming to Tenby Miri
Contact Us:
We are vey pleased to announce that we will be opening a Sixth Form programme
at our school in August 2016. At our recent School Board meeting we were given
the green light to progress with our places to open the centre, which will offer ALevels from next year. We are all very excited to be able to develop our school
further still with the addition of a further two years of study for the most senior
members of our school. The Sixth Form is designed to very much be an integral
part of our school, developing the values and ethos that already exist in our
secondary school and utilizing the talents of many of our existing staff who are
already trained to deliver A-Levels. Over the next nine months we will be working
hard to develop those levels of training further and prepare resources and facilities
to house the new programme. With spare capacity in the school we are not
envisaging a major redevelopment programme, but will use existing facilities,
enhanced and adapted to meet the needs of such a senior programme. We are
planning for a broad range of subjects to be offered, with a core programme to
develop skills and provide the advice that our Sixth Form cohort will need to get
them into the very best universities around the world. To register for a Sixth Form
prospectus, please contact our secondary school office or email
[email protected]. We will be organizing a series of events and information
sessions in the months to come, the first of which will be a launch party and
information evening on Tuesday 2nd February. This will coincide with the next
round of Year 11 Student-Parent learning conversations just after the Year 11 mock
exams, and we look forward to welcoming you for this event. In the meantime,
should you have any questions or would like further information about the
programme, please contact our Secondary School office.

Football vs JIS– by Ayush
Football vs St. Columbus– by Sai
It was a great experience playing
against another international school.
Even though we lost everyone tried
their best. Because of the game we
improved our communication skills
and team work. We know we lost the
game so we will practice more and
try to win our next game.

Our game against St. Columbus was
our first game against another
school this year and it was a great
experience and one to remember.
Despite the fact that we lost, I think
we played well as taking into account that this was our first game as
a team. It did however give us the
opportunity to learn from our mistakes and perform very well and fairly and maybe the next time we play
them, we can win!
3rd KRP Junior Swimming Invitational 2015
A strong Tenby swim-team took part
in the third KRP Junior swimming
invitational, held at the Kelab
Rekreasi Petroleum in Lutong. The
school was represented by students
in all age categories from 6 up to 12
and it was great to see the spirit with
which our students competed and
supported each other. As result,
many of our students medaled, and
in the final tally we were placed
second overall, a commendable
effort as most of our competitors
were from Miri’s various swimming
clubs. Below you can see some of
our swimmers in action, as well as

medalists who received their gongs
