Creativity & Innovation Week of (uses processes to construct knowledge & develop digital products) Communication & Collaboration Week of (locally & globally using digital tools and resources to reinforce and promote learning) Students will create a diagram using Kidspiration to describe an object by its properties: size, mass, shape, color, and texture. 1. Open Kidspiration from the desktop icon. Crayon 2. Type in the Main Idea symbol: Crayon 3. File/Save As/(Type student name in the File Name: box)/Computer/hbg/Kinder/Teacher’s Name/Properties of Objects folder/Save Open & Save: Add symbols 1. Open Kidspiration from the desktop icon. 2. Click on the green shape from the menu and type your first name 3. Click on the square from the symbol pallet to select it and create 5 symbols. (option: 2 or 3 symbols) 4. Click on the Object (craryon) symbol to select it. 5. Click on Link on the Menu bar. 6. Click on one of the squares to link it. 7. Repeat with each square symbol. 8. Type size on the arrow of one of the squares/small. 9. Type mass on the arrow of one of the squares/light. 10. Type shape on the arrow of one of the squares/cylinder. 11. Type color on the arrow of one of the squares/red, etc. 12. Type texture on the arrow of the last square/smooth. 13. File/Save 14. Click on the square with the arrow labeled size and type small. 15.
