Ashford Park Primary School Newsletter
6th November 2015
Inspiring a love for lifelong learning
Welcome to the latest edition of the Ashford Park Primary School Newsletter. No. 265
Dear All,
Welcome back to the second half of this autumn term and we hope that you
enjoyed the half term break. It was wonderful to see SO many members of our
school and local community enjoying the PTA fireworks on Sunday and we send
HUGE thanks to our willing volunteers and St John’s Ambulance who kept us all
safe and well fed, watered and entertained!
It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the smiling faces of our children back to
school, as years 2, 3 and 4 moved in to their BRAND new classrooms. Our EYFS
children also returned to new carpets and lino flooring in our EYFS unit.
Year 2 new classrooms and fun technology!
School photographs
The children were impeccably presented and looked exceptionally smart for their
school photographs this week. Thank you for working in partnership to support
our school expectations of uniform, as we prepare the children for their future
working life, where the wearing of uniform may be a vital part of the role.
Parents – please stay on the playground
For the safety of our children, please can parents / carers stay on the
playground at the beginning and end of the school day. Please do not wander
around the school or enter the buildings.
Thank you for your co-operation.
