WE ARE THE
(formerly known as Kitty Pen Pals!)
Benny (A13148752)
This big brown tabby has he had a rough few weeks!
Benny was adopted, only to be returned after two weeks
for having some litter box issues. According to the
family, Benny was very nervous and wouldn’t leave one
of the bedrooms. Poor Benny was so overwhelmed, he
was afraid to venture out. But Benny hasn’t had any
problems finding his litter box in the shelter. Benny just
needs an understanding owner that will introduce him
slowly to the household, and give him time to adjust.
This 3-5 year old boy is just a big teddy bear that you want to hug and cuddle.
Although he may be shy at first, Benny had no trouble warming up to shelter
workers and volunteers. He loved being petted and even rolled on his back! Now
poor Benny is under the weather with a cold, and needs his forever family to
come find him. He is already neutered so you can bring him home today! Sweet
Benny just wants to be loved-please give him that chance! If you’re interested in
meeting or finding out more about Benny contact Melissa at [email protected].

Who are the Kneady Cats? ACCT has a number of
residents who have been waiting longer than others for an adoptive
home, or they are often overlooked because they hide in the back
of the kennel. Maybe they just don’t look so pretty right now
because of an injury, or because they weren’t cared for very well.
These cats just need some extra attention and socialization to be
confident, loving pets. The Kneady Cat Program aims to prioritize
these animals’ adoptions, allows them extra marketing from the
shelter, and allows adopters to work one-on-one with the person
who knows the cat on a personal level!
If you are an active volunteer and would like to get involved and
help a Kneady Cat, please email Emily at [email protected]. If
you are currently not a volunteer at ACCT but would like to
become one and help cats too, email [email protected] for
more information and upcoming orientation dates.
Whodini (A13172523)
Look at this handsome tabby guy!
Poor Whodini is one of our
longest-term residents at the
shelter. He is a 1-2 year old tabby
male that was found as a stray,
with a bite wound abcess at the
base of the tail. Poor guy must
have gotten bitten in the tush! His
wound is healing nicely but now
the poor guy is getting a cold from being here for so long.
Come save this guy today! Questions? Contact Sheri at
[email protected] for more info on Whodini.

PURRSONALS
URGENT Kittens & Cats looking for TLC!
Niri, Turi and Zuri
This trio of adorable kittens
(A13450682) is in need of foster care!
These 3 kittens were surrendered to
our shelter because they had too many
animals and no longer wanted them.
Now they are stuck here in the shelter
waiting for a foster home. They are
around 6-8 weeks old and are almost
ready for their forever home.
LUCKY & HOPALONG!
Lucky is a sweet tabby boy
who’s been in foster care
since February. Lucky is
good-natured, very shy, but
non aggressive. The rewards
associated with socializing
a shy cat are huge, but they
don’t come overnight–patience
is key! Lucky had two issues
that needed work–his fear of
humans and his fear of other
cats. Lucky’s extreme fear of
other cats was surprisingly
broken by a 1.5 pound fluffball
kitten named Hopalong! Hopalong is a tail amputee who was being
kept in a large crate in the same bedroom as Lucky. After a couple
of days, Lucky was cautiously approaching Hoppy’s crate. I decided
to let Hopalong out to see what would happen...instant friends!
Hopalong has given Lucky the opportunity to experience interaction
with another animal in a non-threatening way. Their relationship is
a testament to the fact that shy cats like Lucky are not without hope,
and we should never give up on trying to help them. I know I will never
give up on Lucky, and neither will Hopalong!
Merlin, Pixie, Fairy and Arthur
This adorable litter of 4 (A13482496)
was found abandoned in an alley way.
They were all alone with no momma
cat to be found! They are around 4-5
weeks old and they are super cute!
There are 2 orange and white tabby
boys and 2 calico girls. Come foster
these kittens today!
MaryLou, MarySue, Ben and Boomer
This poor litter has been through quite
a rough few days. This litter
(A13211728) was fostered a few weeks
ago and they were sadly returned
because they no longer wanted them.
They are just about ready for adoption!
There are 2 calico females, a tuxedo
male, and a grey and white male. They
are super sweet and purr like crazy!
VANNA WHITE!
Vanna White is a beautiful, pure
white Oriental mix–a hidden
gem saved from the Isolation
room at ACCT! Vanna’s about
2 years old, and as sweet
as can be! With her looks
and sparkling personality,
Vanna White drew a legion
of admirers at the shelter,
but sadly, after about a week
or so, she started to sneeze,
and was quickly moved to the
small, overcrowded isolation
room. Because Vanna hadn’t
been spayed, she didn’t have much of a chance at surviving her stay
in isolation, but she was quickly pulled into foster care, where she
recovered quickly from her cold! She is the friendliest cat in the world,
loves other cats and dogs but truly thrives on human interaction. She
loves to snuggle, loves to play, loves to chat, and is just all around just
perfect! My experience has been that quite often, some of the nicest
cats that come into the shelter are found in the isolation room- they
just need a chance, and that chance can only come from foster parents.

great mom and has lived with dogs before!
LOVE – LONG TERM RESIDENT
This handsome guy has had a rough
few days. Love (A13173278) is a
mostly black male cat with white milk
moustache markings. Love was found
as a stray with a very swollen
puncture wound on his arm.He had a
drain placed in his arm to help heal his
injury and he will be sent home with
antibiotics. Can you help this LOVEable
guy get better and find a home?
