Assistant Professor of Trumpet, Eastern New Mexico University, August 2006-Present.
 Teach undergraduate trumpet majors and non-majors.
 Teach the High Brass Methods course, a section of Music Reading, Theory I-II, Aural
Skills I-II, and other classes as needed.
 Other responsibilities include serving on the Music Assessment Committee, Music
Advisory Committee, University Budget and Planning Committee, Fine Arts Council
Representative, conducting the University Brass Choir, and coaching undergraduate
chamber ensembles.
Instructor of Trumpet, Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts, Summers 2008Present.
 Teach daily trumpet master classes, coordinate theory courses, coach student brass
ensembles and perform as a part of the faculty at Middle Tennessee State University for
the summers.
Private Trumpet Studio, 1996-Present.
 Teach private Trumpet and French Horn lessons in New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee and
Mississippi. Students received such honors as superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble
contests, participation in regional orchestra and regional and all-state bands.

 As the Trumpet/Theory teaching assistant, I taught sections of Music Theory and Ear
Training at the undergraduate level.

 Assistant to the Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies in the Undergraduate Advisement
and Student Services Office. Maintained student files and assisted the Director and the

Children’s Concert Society of Greater Akron. August 2001 – May 2003.
 Performed with the Graduate Brass Quintet in a series of concerts for area elementary
schools.
 Lectures included topics in music history, the history of brass instruments, basic brass
playing fundamentals, general music questions about compositional form and style and
an open question and answer time.
