Minister’s
message
Local artisans contribute to the province and the world culturally, socially and
economically. Using methods both traditional and contemporary, both innovative
and imaginative, they are perfecting their craft and using their talent to express their
perspective on this distinctive part of the world. Our government is proud of the
accomplishments of our craft professionals. We strive to assist them in growing their
businesses and the industry as a whole.
The Provincial Government supports an environment where artisans’ are aware of the
important contributions they make to our province. We also want to inspire youth to
consider becoming involved in the craft, gift and apparel sector.
