Main idea and details
The Main Idea March
Here’s what you do:
1.Spread out the Main Idea cards. Read each one.
2.Select a Detail card and place it on the mat. Read
the information; then choose the matching Main
Idea card. Place it on the mat.
3.Write the main idea on notebook paper, followed
by the letter of the Detail card set.
4.Use the answer key to check your work.
