Indoor Skydiving Instructors

We are now recruiting instructors
for our Penrith, Gold Coast
and Perth sites. No experience
necessary as all training is
provided in a month long Flight
Instructor Training Programme.
Flight Crew (Customer service)
Instructors
Full time: 38 hours each week
Weekend and Part time: 5-35 hours each week
Casual: When required (flexible)
Full time: 38 hours each week

The flight crew are the face of iFLY and are
responsible for making bookings, answering
phones, emails and providing exceptional
customer service to our guests. Applicants will
be required to work in a fast paced environment
and deal with a range of customers and requests.
Applicants should have a good understanding of
point of sale systems and computer knowledge
including Word and Excel. We are searching for
confident, organised and hard-working candidates,
with an excellent phone manner who can keep
calm and work efficiently at all times. Applicants
should have a strong sales focus and experience
in a retail or leisure industry is preferred.
The Instructors are responsible for the safety of our
customers at all times. iFLY aims to provide world
class customer service and this process takes place
both in and outside the wind. Instructors should be
confident speaking to groups of people and have
a strong sales focus. Due to the physical nature
of the role, instructors will be required to complete
a tough physical fitness test. Instructors also form
part of the flight crew (see left) and will be required
to undertake the customer service role (training
provided).
No prior skydiving or indoor skydiving experience
is required and all training is provided. Candidates
applying for a full time position will also be
required to learn to control the airflow for the
instructor in flight.

required and all training is provided over a 1 month
long training course. Instructors are expected to
commit to a 2 year contract with iFLY in lieu of the
training provided. Self-funded training options might
also be available.
Instructor Fitness test:
1)
8 pull ups or chin ups
2)
20 push up burpees with a tuck in 1 minute
3)
Pass level 10 on the 20m multistage fitness
test, commonly known as the beep test.

Please note:
•
You must hold an Australian passport, residency and/or existing work visa
•
You will be required to sign a minimum 2 year contract (instructors only)
•
You will be required to work anti-social hours including evenings and weekends on a shift basis
•
You will be required to hold an RSA, blue card (working with children) and a current first aid certificate

Additional skills that may be of use in the facility, i.e. Electrician / Graphic Designer
