Sarasota,FL.
Theconference,hostedbyTPF,willuniteournation'sleadersasthey
cometogethertoshareideas,learnaboutuniquepartnerships,challenge
assumptionsandpushtheboundariesofpotentialtohonorournation's
heroes-withafocusoncreatingmeaningfulcross-sectorconnections
benefitingveteransandtheirfamilies.
BybringingleaderstogetherfromacrosstheU.S.,inadditiontoproviding
theopportunitytoconnect,learnandshare,thesummitallowsusto
showcaseandsharePatriotPlazaonanationallevel.
Duringthismulti-dayevent,VLSwillhavesomethingforeveryone!Froma
bayfrontfilmfestivaltoworkshopsandpaneldiscussionstoanational
ceremonywithaperformancebytheWestPointBand.
InadditiontomeetingtheartistsofthecommissionedartatPatriotPlaza,
therewillbeaseriesofpaneldiscussionsthatwillexploresuchtopicsas
theroleoftechnologyinbringingveterans'storiestolife,combatand
militarystoriesfromPulitzer-Prize-winningphotojournalists,andKenIrby,
founderanddirectorofthePoynterInstitute'sPhotojournalismprogram,
willmoderateapanelonthemesofwitnessingandpreservinghistoryof
warthroughphotojournalism.
