You are invited to join our intellectual Property Training with focus on industrial biotechnology and
the biobased economy organized by CLIB2021, Flanders Biobased Valley and REWIN West-Brabant. This training course is organized within the framework of the BioBase4SME project and is
designed to meet the emerging needs of SMEs, startups and upcoming spinouts from universities.
BioBase4SME provides Bio-Innovation Support for Entrepreneurs throughout North-West European
regions. BioBase4SME helps startups and SMEs to overcome technological and non-technological
barriers to bring their innovation to market.

The Trainer
Michael Barth studied chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich.
After his PhD in the field of bioinorganic chemistry he specialized in intellectual property right. He is a German and European patent attorney and has been active in the
protection of intellectual property right since 2006.
